Please welcome my new mare, Janati.

Yesterday, I was broswing the animal ads in the local paper. I found someone selling baby chickens for $1.50 and figured mum would be interested. When I told her, she asked me to call up and get the details. 10 chickens for 15$? We'll take it. So, after 2 hours of getting lost down wrong roads, we finally find where we're going. I, of course, had brought my camera along in hopes of getting a few photos to show off. Well, I noticed a horse grazing out in their pasture and I said, "Perfect." Well, I didn't know how right I was.
As I step out of of the car I ask the owner if it is indeed his horse. He says yes and makes the comment, "want her?" Well this aroused some question in me so I went off to take a look at his horse. As I got closer I saw her beautiful coat color, which caught my eye, and instantly when she turned her head towards me I saw the horse I had been looking for for four years. I knew it when I looked into her eyes. I was invited in and the man began to explain to me about her. She's pure-bred Arabian, papers and all. When told the original price he wanted, my heart sank. I knew I could never afford it, however, due to a small injury on her leg (which is healing well) he cut the price in half. I knew I had to get her. Deals were made, money was delt with, and my new mare was brought home the same night.
